Fast forward, one day I thought I'd like to try my hand at a canvas and that's all it took, I knew this is what God had planned for me to do!

My inspiration comes from God, Music, Dance, Words and Freedom to Express everything inside me on to the canvas. I was a careful painter and just "knew" there was "something" in me that needed to come out! I asked God to be my partner, He heard and answered that prayer. Now I paint with complete abandon and joy!!!

When I turned 65 I started having little health problems from time to time, and I actually started looking forward to going to those appointments.......what? Yes! Because my kids were grown and successful and I was blessed with a granddaughter, but she didn't live close enough to see everyday. So I really began to wonder, why am I here?
When I turned 65 I started having little health problems from time to time, and I actually started looking forward to going to those appointments.......what? Yes! Because my kids were grown and successful and I was blessed with a granddaughter, but she didn't live close enough to see everyday. So I really began to wonder, why am I here?? What's my purpose? I prayed for years over this, long walks looking at the ocean (where we lived at the time). I knew God had a purpose for my life, but I would vacillate between feeling bad that God had given me so much,and I shouldn't ask for more, to stubbornly digging in and believing the many Scriptures that make reference to the fact that say God has given us each a purpose, a unique "me' purpose and unique "you" purpose. I am 69 years old now and I paint with purpose, to share God and my faith as a Christian to share that you are never too old, so that you can bring art in to your home, a touchstone for your faith so you are reminded of his Love for You!!!
